Compton Croquet Club has enjoyed another successful year.  We have hosted many matches and tournaments and made or renewed friendships with all who took part.  We are also delighted to have welcomed new members and look forward to getting to know them as they progress on the lawns.

Highlights of the year include hosting a GC A Level and a GC D Level tournament for the first time; hosting and taking part in a leg of the European Club League and seeing our Netherland friends again who will be founding the first croquet club in the Netherlands, near Gouda next year.

And if you are interested in trying out the glorious game of croquet, we are offering short introductions all afternoon.  Mallets and balls provided, we just ask that you wear flat soled shoes.

And if you want to take the game further, come and join with others in a  “taster programme” of 3 free trial afternoons. Anybody who has any interest in joining the programme at any time of the year should contact John Hill at  comptonccmembership@gmail.com.
