Feel like having a go at croquet with friends or colleagues? During the season we are pleased to welcome visiting groups – minimum of 12 people – maximum 24 people. After greeting our visitors and selecting a mallet, we split into groups of four under the guidance of a club member and help you play several (usually three) games.
These games can then be followed by a scrumptious afternoon tea with sandwiches, cream scones, and cakes; or just a cup of tea and biscuits; or a nice cold drink from the bar (in the summer evening visits) or fish & chips from a local supplier plus our bar at very reasonable prices.
Should you already be an experienced player and just visiting our lovely town on holiday you are more than welcome to come along to our club and use the lawns at a reasonable cost. Prior booking would be recommended to ensure a lawn is free.
