125 years celebrations

We are planning a big celebration of the Club being based in Eastbourne (originally located near where the multi-storey car park is at the Beacon, then at Devonshire Park, and finally where we are now at The Saffrons) for 125 years.  Our usual Open Day, scheduled for Saturday 11 May, will be combined with fancy dress, plant sale, tombola, open lawns to play or try out Golf and Association Croquet and of course tea and cakes.  We will be inviting all current and past members and local dignitories to join in the fun and we hope all will attend.

Taking part during the season

Now is the time to start planning your upcoming season and deciding which competitions you want to enter.  More experienced players may be aiming for the South East Croquet Federation League regional tournaments. Less experienced players are encouraged to join in and enter the League Handicap tournaments.  Notices will be going up from February asking for those interested to sign up.  And there are also the season long Compton organised competitions.  Ask a committee member for advice into what is available.
